Gulp...

I'm nervous, groupies.
Normally, I don't get nervous.

But I'm scared and a little wary.
A lot for tonight (I dunno what'll happen),
A little for tomorrow morning (I have to teach in church).

Still nervous.

Could you come out of the shadows
and give me a little cyber-encouragement?

Thanks!
:-)

PS. There are 99 of you! I can't believe it. The magical 100 is only ________ [insert measurement of time] away! That deserves a celebration. I shall ponder upon it!

You know, I think it helped me to stop being so nervous when I thought about what I wanted to convey to the class - like really focusing on the message. Try listing ten honest to goodness reasons why you want to share the lesson with the class. It helped my nervousness anyway. :)

Chess, some advice that will make both you and us (your groupies) happy:

think about how you will describe things in your next post:

--> it may take away a bit of your nervousness

--> we will be more than happy to read

and with your charm, no doubt everything will be fine.
good luck

YOU ROCK! No reason to be nervous! Pony up, cowgirl, and enjoy the ride!!!

I'd suggest the old picturing everyone in their underwear trick to help with the nerves. But I don't think that would be appropriate in church.

Next best suggestion: Be yourself Chess. From what I've read here...I'd pay a quarter to listen to you talk.

Hope everything went okay!!

I am offended by the word I had to type in to get this comment published! It's asking for dummenr...which is almost dumber at 6:00am when you've been up all night! :)
