Super Nerd...

I was messing around on my MacBook,
(whom I love),
and guess what I can do?!

I can Bluetooth music
to my cell phone!

"Get outta town!" you say.
Oh! This is very real, my friends.

It's crazy what you can learn when you don't have a job,
and you sit in your bed at home all day.

Nerd...

Remember the Rubiks Cube I got for Christmas?

Well, I can solve it!

Without looking at the instructions! (Yes, I am one of those people who can't figure things out just by looking at them.)

That's right. I know you thought it. Don't deny it.

I'm cool.

Wheeze...

My favorite things in life:

Singing (not well),
Listening to Jennifer Hudson sing,
Watching Ellen, and
Laughing so hard that I literally start to convulse.

Life does not get much better than this video.

Dunno...

I am a bored person. Haven't found a job yet, but I'm going to go clean house for the lady whose kids I nannied last summer. So I guess that counts. I get paid, so technically it's a job.

I decided not to go to the singles' ward in my stake. I kind of disliked it last summer, so now I'm going to my friends' singles' ward in my old stake. It was pretty fun. I got talked into going to the Dating and Courtship class after sacrament meeting.

I'll give you some space to laugh about it....

Seriously? Who knew that was even a Sunday School option? And don't worry about laughing at me. I laughed a lot. Silently. To myself. Cos it was funny. I was one of four girls in the class and there were eight guys. Most of them recently returned missionaries. A few of them are my really good friends.

It's so rude of me to snort.

*snort*

Course, what do I know about dating? Nothing. Maybe that's why I laughed. Cos I felt awkward. Apparently, laughter is sometimes a defense mechanism. I suppose I was trying to defend myself from being awkward. I don't know why. Awkward moments make the world go 'round. Oh well. It was amusing. Much more enjoyable than Gospel Doctrine usually is. And there was this really stupid mosquito that kept flying in the same circle. Over and over again. I got dizzy watching it. This kid tried to kill it, but that didn't work. It just came back.

Anyway, I think I'll stick around in this ward for the summer. It promises more fun than my singles' ward.

P.S. I hate singles' wards. I much prefer student wards. Huge difference. Huge.

*snort*

I can't believe there is a Dating and Courtship class.

Confetti...

Is what I'd like to throw around right now. Remember my poli sci class? The one that was hell on earth? The one that made me cry multiple times? Actually it made me cry one more time before I was done.

I sort of gave up on the final and didn't finish my essay. Instead, I wrote in big shaky letters: I have nothing else to say because I can't remember anything else. And then I turned it in. Then I got only 20 bucks back for a 100 worth of books. Then I stomped all the way home trying not to cry...until I ran into Mark who tried valiantly to distract me until I got into my apt (what a nice guy)...and then I bawled anyway because I thought I was going to fail.

Well.....

I did NOT fail. I PASSED. With a B PLUS.

I'm so happy.

I shall never have to take another general education class again.

Now that that's over, all I have to do is face the depressing task of trying to find a job in Orem.

Oh help.

21...

I'm home for the summer and finally all the way unpacked. I have way too much stuff and am in the process of getting rid of it.

I had an amazing birthday, thanks to my sweet roommates. I got earrings, a hot cocoa-maker with a froth button and dispenser, lasagna, cake, and a toy gun with plastic bullets. And little plastic targets shaped like people. And I got to ride on my friend Mark's motorcycle. Which equaled unequaled FUN! I also got to see some of my favorite people in the world, and that made life wonderful!

But....I still don't feel any different than when I was 20, or 19, or 18, or 17....but I know I am. I'm stronger, braver, maybe a little smarter. I think I'm nicer than I used to be and I'm trying to be a better example everyday. Also, I guess I feel a little weepier than usual. This last week has been one of the hardest ever in my life. I gave up on my poli sci final when I still had about 21 minutes left. I said goodbye to someone I didn't want to see go, and I said hello to someone that I shouldn't have seen for another 21 months.  And I got about 21 dollars when I sold 90 dollars worth of books back. I cried for what felt like 21 days. So far, 21 hasn't been such a great number.

But I believe it'll be a great number one of these days.

I just have to be patient.
