(sorta)
*sniffle*
Tragedy #1: My roommate Cortnie has been feeling a little lonely and out of sorts. She is up in Logan by herself, and I didn't have to work today or tomorrow, so last night I thought I might go up and surprise her with a visit. Fortunately, I checked to see if she would be up there before I actually went, but she had gone home to her family in Montana. I'm very happy she's with her family, but I'm sad because I miss her and I was really excited at the possibility of visiting her.
Tragedy #2: Yummy-smelling boy and I were doing a bit of texting, and I was telling him about my plan to possibly surprise Cort, and he said that if I did make it up there, he and his buddies were having a BBQ on Saturday, and that I should come. But since I wasn't going to be able to visit Cort, I couldn't justify the gas money to get up there, so I had to decline. It was a total bummer, and I may or may not have whimpered a little in pathetic girlish despair. Don't judge me! (You haven't smelled him.)
Is that, or is that not, tragic?
That's what I thought!

rats. that is tragic.
How can you not justify fulfilling your destiny???
I'll text you some gas money.
a sniffle on your behalf
*Hugs* Maybe next time? I'm sure things will work out. (And I now feel I must smell this yummy boy :P)
Chess, I'm usually looking for excuses to go up to Logan, so next time you want to go up, just let me know and maybe we could carpool.
I agree with Steven.
You don't even need an excuse, you have a reason: Yummy smelling boy invited you!
go for it
I wish I smelled yummy. I don't. In a big way. I'm glad My Love doesn't mind too much, but I wish I was yummy-anything...
I like travelling around :). Any excuse will do :).
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
If it makes you feel any better, I'm in the middle of 5 straight days of work and I don't even get a chance to do anything fun. :(
On the bright side, yummy smelling boy totally invited you to do something...and August is coming faster than you think!
Oh, and you're more than welcome to visit at our house anytime =)
Dear Chess,
It is tragic. Thank you for your kind note. It brought a smile to my face. No more sniffling for the summer. The other day I learned that if you wear a red bandana, it is a symbol of being in the bloods.
Rick
That is most definitely tragic. I agree with Kayce, at least he invited you!!! WOOHOO that way you know there will be a next time :)
HS!!!
That stands for Heavy Sniffles
