(21 years - 2 years) x a big, fat crush on Prince Eric = 19 years with a big, fat crush on Prince Eric.
He is the reason I learned how to work a VCR; my parents got so tired of rewinding the video multiple times a day. He is the reason I love the ocean. He is the reason I am so attracted to dark hair and blue eyes. The only thing missing from the perfection that is Eric is that he never sang in the movie.
And then one day, The Little Mermaid came to Broadway, bringing with her Prince Eric (Sean Palmer), who, in turn, brought with him a most gorgeous singing voice. Knowing that I would never, ever be able to see the play due to impoverishment, I bought the Original Cast Soundtrack. And, oh, how my soul delighted!
A little while after, I fell in love with somebody else (while never falling out of love with Eric). Remember the stupid movie that I adore?
And this summer, in a limited engagement through August 30, he is making his Broadway debut as Prince Eric!!

My heart broke. Two of the most beautiful things in the world have met, combined, and fused into the most gorgeous concoction of music, dance, and poetry, and I am stuck in Utah County.

This is the kind of wish that 11:11 should make come true, but never does.
This is the kind of wish that I would fight tooth and nail to fulfill if I had only one day left to live.
This is the kind of wish that would blast all other wishes into oblivion.
This is the kind of wish that will always remain as such.
Just a wish.

Oh. My. Word. Prince Eric is my favorite too!! Get out of town!! No seriously, get out of town to see this on broadway and TAKE ME WITH YOU. And drew seeley?? seriously?? why can't we be rich and just fly out there to see it, then come home? why isn't life that way? ugh.
Why can't you, Chess? Make it happen.
I will donate $5 dollars for you to go. . . really I will :) ha ha
i hate to break it to you, but the show is closing on broadway very very soon. you better hurry up.
I know exactly how you feel- I own the CD myself. Prince Eric... *sigh*.
Although, I think I beat you out age-wise. Before I could even walk or talk I used to watch the movie and try to sing along, my mom tells me that I would get very upset if anyone turned it off when I was in the middle of it.
And I love your blog- by the way :)
Oh Chessie... I wish I could help you:)
