For a whole week. That's seven days, people. And I've made it five days so far!
I know that might not seem like much, but, considering the fact that I'm basically alone in Happy Valley, I haven't been able to find a job, and my siblings have more of a social life than I do--well, I spend a lot of time stalking people's profiles and browsing through all of their pictures. Like hours. And hours.
I got tired of it. Nay. Sick of it.
Hence the fast. I did it once before. February 2008. My friend bet me I couldn't stay off FB for a whole week. He lost an Einstein's bagel and a Jamba Juice to me.
They were delicious.
So right now, I am blissfully unaware as to what is occurring on my FB feed:
- I don't know what Disney Princess you are or if you are able to survive a zombie attack.
- I don't know what your status says.
- I have no idea whether or not you are in a relationship.
- I have no idea if I have new friends. And if I do, I don't know if you wrote on my wall. (You probably didn't. Shame on you.)
- I don't know if you got engaged in the last five days. (You probably did. Congratulations.)
- Frankly, I don't care.
It's kind of delightful.
I've also been watching So You Think You Can Dance. Oh, that show is brilliant! I love it!
You should try it. (The fast and the show.)
:)

I really need to do the Facebook fast. I think I've learned more about my personality in the last two weeks from all of those little tests than ever before. I'm developing a bit of a complex.
p.s. we should get together and watch that delightful movie that includes the cupid dance.
This is brilliant. I wonder if I could do it. Maybe if I took a week off of work too. Haha. I sit at a computer all day...and somehow the screen always ends up back on facebook. Like once an hour. It's a bit ridiculous. I need to work on it. SYTYCD is incredible. Missed last night's but we have DVR. Thank goodness.
P.S.-Mare is brilliant. We should all totally watch the movie. Hit us up girl-friend! haha jk. but really do it.
I once deleted my account for a whole month. But i rallied. The only time I cold ever leave Facebook for good will be when my mom tries to add me as a friend.
I'm with cody. Whilst I do not frequent facebook often. I cant seem to just get rid of it. Kudos though you are my new hero. Also I am proud of you for discovering the joy that is So you think you can dance.
