Things I Think About...

1. When lightning storms hit
2. When I'd rather be sleeping
3. ______________
[that means you can fill it in]

  • I'd rather be sleeping.
  • Lightning is sooooooo cool!!
  • Does this mean I can't run today? Because I need to. I didn't yesterday.
  • How does one lose the few pounds she gained back after she lost 15 this summer?
  • Especially when her employee discount allows her to eat as much coconut shrimp and pina colada dipping sauce as she wants?
  • Also, homemade bread toasted and spread with chunky PB is kind of the best thing ever.
  • I'm supposed to post today about something I cooked. I'll tell you right now, it ain't gonna happen. Because I have gained a few pounds back, and it is just TOO HOT right now. TOO HOT, I tell you, and my house is miserable because of it. No way, no how, am I baking something.
  • Wait, you say, you can make something doesn't involve baking! Yes, but I really only like baking.
  • It's nice to know that my friend also got mistaken for a student when she worked at the junior high here in O-Town. I got to swap stories about how we never get past the age of puberty when people guess how old we are.
  • Then again, I do stupid things like wear my hair in pigtails sometimes. But I have short hair and I'm trying to grow it out.... Sometimes, there is no other choice!!!
  • It's raining. And thundering. And lightning-ngg.
  • I don't think I'll run for the next little while.
  • I'll keep blogging.
  • But really. How does one get rid of these pounds?
  • Must stop eating stupid junk at work. Am not a boy. Cannot metabolize desserts. Obviously, cannot metabolize anything.
  • Note to Self: Tell Daisy, Rigo, and Patricia in the Bakery not to let me near their domain.
  • I really like playing Ultimate Frisbee. I wish I were good at Ultimate Frisbee. I wish I were good at any sport. I'm taking an Ultimate Frisbee class this fall.
  • I told Elle Solace on Monday that I would blog yesterday about how I learned to run. I didn't. I forgot. I'm sorry. I will. Soon.
  • Mosquitoes. Booooo.
  • I have purple glasses. I look like such a nerd when I wear them. Especially with pigtails. Like I am now. Awesome.
  • I really want to run. Yet, I don't at the same time. Why is that?
  • I always tell my friends to "dream of handsome men" when we log off Facebook to go to sleep. They always return the sentiment. How come I never do?
  • I mean, I do when nobody tells me. Night before last's random dream man had eyes of icy blue-green goodness (ahem, Erica!). But last night? Nada. Lame.
  • My room is messy.
  • It's 6:30 in the morning. I've been awake since 5. Gross.
  • I'm taking a nap.
  • I want more toast.
  • NO!!!

Running really is the best way to get rid of those desserts. You just have to make it enjoyable. Luckily, I have a treadmill that I watch tv shows on. Currently, I'm watching Avatar the Last Air bender while doing my daily 3 miles. Food Network is good on it too. So is Glee!

This may be true, still unsure, but I always heard the more caffeinated tea you drink the faster your metabolism becomes. Maybe you could sit, blog, drink tea, and not feel guilty?

I LOVE rain and lightening. When it's raining and lightening outside, I think about how much I love it.
I also love random stuff. And this post was full of it. :)
Yeah and guess what? I guess it's normal and encouraged to gain THIRTY pounds during pregnancy!!!! Ugh! The kid doesn't weight more than seven or eight pounds when it's born, what the heck are the other twenty-three pounds for??
So not looking forward to working that blubber off.

Haha! Oh, I love you, Chess :P Its so fun getting to hear what goes through your mind.

Hopefully, all these thoughts don't keep you up all night! I know when I have a lot to think about, I don't sleep, I just think :P

And YES!!! Lightning storms are AWESOME! :D

I wear my [bluish] glasses and my hair up at work, so I often get mistaken for a 17-year-old high schooler or a 19-year-old cutie pie. I laugh because they're usually guys (smell a fetish?) and do my best fierce DEATH glare. Work is definitely not a place to be pretty, LOL.

Pigtails and purple glasses?! Awesome!!

I'm a little upset that my hair is now too long for me to wear my beloved tweed cap...

Yaysies for UF!

Mmmm... freshly baked bread. Just had some yesterday. Sliced off the very top part (the very bestest part), and spread soft, yogurt butter over it as steam billowed out of the opened loaf. It was soooo good. :) And I justify eating carb-filled toast by spreading hummus all over it. That's healthy, right? Haha. *cough*
